Our Hotel

Miranda Hotel is an old mansion in Hydra, built in 1810. Since 1961 it functions as an A’ class guest house, while being declared as a building of National Heritage by the Ministry of Culture.
This sea captain’s mansion, converted into a hotel,  has hosted numerous Greek and foreign art exhibitions, being also an ideal choice for holding events and weddings.
Well-known politicians, famous artists, architects, actors and writers have visited the Hotel Miranda.

Location
Miranda Hotel is located in the main street that connects the harbor with Kala Pigadia, 3 minutes from the Hydra port.

Hotel Facilities & Activities

Miranda Hotel has 14 rooms, 3 of which are apartments. Some of them are of sea view and others of blooming garden view. The rooms are in complete observance of architectural practices on Hydra. They are decorated with fine collection of 18th and 19th century furniture – antiques, significant paintings of famous Greek artists and engravings. In the rooms of the second floor ceilings are painted by Italian painters of the time the mansion was built in 1810, kept intact until today.
The rooms are renovated every year and kept in excellent condition.
